Christians want to bear the fruit of the Spirit as in Galatians 5:22. However, this is not easy. The reason is not because we don't have fruits to show eventhough we have good faith but because we don't have enough faith to bear the fruit of the Spirit.[Romans 10:17] Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.The faith starts from Jesus Christ, who is the Word itself. When Christians have the word recorded in their spirit, they are equipped with the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit [Ephesians 6:17], then they are ready for spiritual battles.
